What did we do to deserve dogs? A question I often ask myself. Dogs are almost perfect; they are loyal, very loving, sweet, and protective.
I own a Shih Tzu, and this type of dogs can’t protect you from danger nor can be trained to attack command. They are precisely the opposite; they are friendly and would wag their tails to robbers or attackers.
On the other hand, I know for a fact that some dog breeds can be trained to attack and even do a CPR. Of course, you can get any dog breed that you want, depending on your needs.
A good example is a German Shepherd; they are highly intelligent and trainable. They can protect their owners from attacks and can be trained to attack command.
Even without training, dogs can sense if their owner is in danger, just like the dog that saved his master from an attacker.
According to Radiovest, Germany, a dog from saved its owner from a knife attack. The woman was with her dog in a park when an unknown man attacked her. She described the guy as in his Mid-20’s.
The dog was briefly out of sight and was seen entering the bushes. The attacker approached the woman, pushed her to the ground, and threatened her with a knife, but the dog returned just in time.
The dog rushed in her owner’s defense and bit the man. The attacker ran away from the park using his bike.
It’s believed that the attacker wasn’t a local, and cannot speak the English language fluently. He was seen riding a mountain bike, with a polo shirt on and Bermuda shorts.
It’s impressive that dogs can sense danger, let alone saving his owner from an untimely demise. God bless dogs!
